Product introduction
Product Description:This product appears as a water-soluble brown powder yielding a weakly acidic solution. Its molecular weight is optimized for reducing drilling mud viscosity, making it more effective than ferrochrome lignosulfonate. With an iron content below 0.8%, it minimizes well pollution while delivering performance comparable to, or better than, ferrochrome salts.
Key Features & Applications:As a thinner and fluid loss control agent, Chrome Lignosulfonate exhibits excellent compatibility and strong resistance to salt, calcium, and high temperatures. It is widely used in fresh, sea, saturated salt, and calcium-treated muds to effectively stabilize boreholes and control viscosity in ultra-deep well applications.
Mud performance
Thermal Stability: Retains performance properties after 16 hours at 150–160°C.
Saline Performance: Outperforms Ferrochrome Lignosulfonate in 2% brine slurry.
Electrolyte Resistance: Strong tolerance ensures compatibility with all mud systems.
